Auction Contracts and T&Cs
A look at the seller declaration, Purchase Contract, Electronic Signatures and Auctions T&C's required as part of setting up an auction.
Seller Declaration
Krank provides each seller with a seller declaration, which must be completed before an auction listing is posted.
What is the seller declaration?
The seller declaration must be read carefully by each buyer before they decide to bid on an item. This document sets out the seller’s clear statements of ownership of the item and rights to sell it. A bidder cannot proceed to bid on an item until he has agreed and signed the seller’s declaration.
As a seller how do I edit the seller declaration?
Krank provides sellers with a seller declaration template only. The seller can edit the template and upload their own text directly into the seller, creating their own document.
Purchase Contract
The purchase contract must also be read carefully by each bidder before they decide to bid on an item. As with the seller declaration, the purchase contract provide by Krank is a template only. Each seller must edit and upload their own purchase contract terms themselves. A bidder cannot proceed to bid on an item until he has agreed and signed the purchase contract.
Electronic signatures
Both bidder and seller electronically sign each document. PDF copies of the documents which will include the electronic IP addresses of both parties can be downloaded for ease of filing.
Auctions Terms & Conditions
Both bidder and seller must electronically sign and agree to Krank’s Auction Terms & Conditions before participating in an auction.
