Does Heavy Kit sell equipment?

No, Heavy Kit is a service exclusively for businesses using the Krank software platform to manage their heavy equipment sales online. We created Heavy Kit to help those companies sell more equipment direct by generating enquiries and increasing auction attendance. With Krank they can build their network of potential buyers, showcase equipment in their own marketplace, set up and run online auctions and manage completion of the sale.

Who can sell equipment on Heavy Kit?

Heavy Kit is available to all companies using Krank to manage their online sales. That includes a wide variety of heavy equipment owners and traders including OEMs, dealers, brokers and rental companies. Equipment owners across mining, forestry, agriculture, infrastructure and construction are also using Heavy Kit to sell their assets direct at higher margins than using auction houses and traditional marketplaces.

How is Heavy Kit different for sellers?

Heavy Kit is created to help companies using the Krank software platform to increase high margin, direct sales. Because when they do well, so do we. That’s why we don’t charge any upfront costs or listing fees – ever. Sellers only pay fees when buyers show genuine interest, such as by making an enquiry or registering to attend an auction.

Sellers on Heavy Kit only pay when buyers show real interest by: 1--> Registering to attend an online auction 2--> Making an enquiry about equipment by phone or online form 3--> Purchasing the item using the ‘buy it now’ button

How do I add a listing to Heavy Kit from my Krank account?

It’s easy to add a listing from your Krank account to Heavy Kit. There are two ways in which you can add your listings: 1. Click the “Create Listing” button at the top of your screen (1) and follow the form on your screen. 2--> Go to your main navigation dashboard on the left-hand side of your screen, click on “My Listings,” (2) then click “Add Listing.” (3)

How do I remove a listing? I want to temporarily remove my listing from the marketplace, how do I do that?

Go to your main navigation dashboard on the left-hand side of your screen and select “My Listings.”. Find the listing you want to turn on or off, then simply flick the switch. If you temporarily remove listing, it will no longer be visible to anyone. You can turn it back on at any time. You can also mark your listing as “Currently being purchased,” which could encourage potential buyers to reach out
