How to participate in an Auction and key functionality to be aware of.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

To participate, simply go to the auction lot you are interested in and click “Register Now” and then follow the following 3 steps.

How can I preview equipment?

Login- Visit the marketplace and log in to see the equipment displayed with photos and details.

Browse Marketplace- Explore the Marketplace section to find the equipment you want to purchase.

Bid- Interested in bidding? Click the “Auction” tab in the Marketplace section to preview available equipment and place bids during the timed event.

Terms & Conditions- Before placing a bid, make sure to accept the terms and conditions for each item you’re interested in.

How do I bid?

For any equipment you are interested in bidding on, click on ‘Pre-Register’ on the listing and complete your one-time cell number validation. Once your number is validated, you can start bidding. *Note that the verification process may take a few minutes. 

To place bids on the equipment you’re interested in, you can Bid Now or Proxy Bid.

BID NOW

Place your Bid: Enter an amount equal to or higher than the next bid, then click "Bid Now”.
After placing your bid, you'll receive one of the following messages:
Place a Higher Bid: Your bid is below the reserve price.
Outbid: Someone placed a higher bid. Place another bid to stay in the lead.
Leading Bidder: You're the current highest bidder. Wait for the auction's end for confirmation.
Bid Confirmation: You'll get a message for each bid you place. Additionally, you'll receive an email or notification if you're outbid.

Proxy Bid

Bid on equipment effortlessly without monitoring the bidding activity.
Place a proxy bid, and the system will automatically bid for you in minimum increments against other bids. The system will never exceed your specified bid amount. If you're the highest bidder when the auction ends, you win, even if the amount is below your proxy bid.
Proxy bids are private and only visible to you. You'll receive a confirmation message for each bid placed.

Tip: Using Proxy Bid with your maximum amount can save you time and money.

Bid Boost

During the event, the bidding window might be shortened to close within the next 24 hours. In this case, all bidders will be instantly notified to place their bids. The item will be sold to the highest bidder when the shortened time frame ends.
